Marilyn Donna Osmundson age 81, of Kiester, MN, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. She fought a courageous battle with cancer over the last 9 months. A memorial visitation will be 4 to 7 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN. Interment will be private.

Marilyn was born at home in Kiester to Chester and Beatrice Johnson November 6, 1937. She graduated from Kiester High School in 1955. In 1959 she married Paul Babcock and from that union, Michael, Lori, Kevin and David were born. They were later divorced. In 1972 she married Edward Osmundson and to them, Tim was born. She worked as a telephone operator, daycare provider and retired from Telex Communications after 17 years of service. She loved her winters in Arizona with family and friends. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, going to casinos, playing bingo, bird watching and most of all spending time with her beloved family.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Michael, of Bricelyn, MN, Lori (Jeff) Rauk of Forest City, IA, Kevin (Heide) of Jacksonville, NC, David (Sheila) of Blue Earth, MN and Tim of Forest City, IA; stepsons: Kenny of Blue Earth, MN, Denny (Karen) of Blue Earth, MN, Dale (Kathy) of Blue Earth, MN and their families; grandchildren: Mathew (Danialle) Rauk, Alexandra (Bo) Flick, Josiah Babcock, Kyle Babcock, Ben Babcock, Collin Koopman, Mikayla Koopman and Carter Osmundson, 2 great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Casen, siblings: Jeanette (Robert) Parriot, of Kiester, MN, Carroll (LeAnn) Johnson, of Aitkin, MN and Dale (Cathy) Johnson, of Pequot Lakes, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed; parents Chet and Betty and her sister Zelda.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to UHD Hospice.

Donna was a dear! I remember many good times visiting with her and other friends at her home. We were always made welcome.
